💰 Need help filing your taxes? The Financial Empowerment Initiative (FEI) is partnering with National Unity Platform, Africa Centre, Ladies Corner, AIMCo Foundation, Dexteritas, and other key supporters to offer a FREE and confidential Community Tax Clinic for low-income individuals and families.

Who Can Benefit?
We prepare taxes for individuals and families within these income brackets:
👤 1 Person – $35,000 max income
👥 2 People – $45,000 max income
👨👩👦 3 People – $47,500 max income
👨👩👧👦 4 People – $50,000 max income
👨👩👧👦 5 People – $52,500 max income
➕ Additional person: Add $3,000 to the threshold
What You Need to Bring:
📄 Government ID, SIN, & Bank Information for Direct Deposit
🧾 Tax Slips: T4, T4E, T5, T5007, T4A, T4A(P), T4A(OAS), Pension, T2202A (Tuition)
📑 Receipts for:
- Charitable donations
- Medical/dental expenses
- Child care expenses
- RRSP contributions
What We Do NOT Prepare:
🚫 Self-employed income tax
🚫 Rental income
🚫 Farming & fishing income
🚫 Bankruptcies
🚫 Deceased persons’ tax returns
🚫 Interest exceeding $1,000
🚫 Complex tax returns requiring a professional accountant
